This week, there were six of us at Mark's and he had dug out this old Ian Livingstone game, which I played for the first and only time in February 1996. Wow! The early game saw Guy and myself joining forces in different districts from everyone else and it looked to be game over after only the first round for us. However, although the others started making our districts unattractive, the end-game forces people into those unattractive districts as there is nowhere else to play, so the game was tighter than we thought.

I did spot a mistake in Mark K's scoring when I got home and, as a result.... I still didn't win but Guy did actually end up with 10 more points than originally recorded so just overtook me for fourth place. However, we all thought Steve was well in contention but discovered that both Marks tied for the win. Nice fun game for the end of the year.
