Nige, Steve and I started with this new game by Bruno Faidutti and Serge Laget. It's basically Settlers in space with elements of Puerto Rico (common actions plus bonus for picking action) and Robo Rally (planning ahead your actions for the round). I really enjoyed it, as did Nige, but Steve was less impressed as he's not a fan of Settlers and got off to a poor start and couldn't find a way to catch up. Admittedly, Nige and I were feeding off each other's actions so we were accumulating resources faster than Steve and he didn't seem to establish a lead in any of the scoring types so was missing out on the bonus VPs. The end was fairly close, with me relying on a food production to turn up so I could terraform two planets rather than just one (it didn't appear), while Nige was able to grab a full nine points by scoring all six different resources. I'm interested to see how this plays with four or five. Good stuff.
