The remaining four of us began with Roll Through The Ages, which Steve and Mark G had not played before. Well Mark K hadn't really played it last time remembering how poorly he scored - surely he couldn't do as badly this time. Actually, he learned his lesson pretty well as he concentrated his early turns on building more cities - it was me who failed on that score due to some poor rolling on the first turn. However, Mark K had two disastrous final turns that took him out of contention, suffering drought on the penultimate turn and failing to roll enough workers on the final turn to complete his pyramid. I triggered the end-game by building my fifth development but knew it was unlikely to secure me enough points. Sure enough, Steve was able to use his final turn to gain enough points to grab the win. We all really enjoyed this and I have upped my rating from 7 to 8 - and a very strong 8 at that.
