Game played: Tumblin-Dice ( Ferti ) BGG Id: 16747

This week, we were happy to welcome Felix, one of Tom's friends who was back from university for the weekend. We started off with a nice fun game, involving dice so Mark G was bound to win wasn't he? Eight of us split into four teams of two at random. Unfortunately for Felix, he was paired with Nige - dexterity not quite being his forte. Indeed, Tumblin-Dice is not known for causing injury but somehow Nige and a shoulder condition seemed to be the result, causing much hilarity rather than sympathy of course. And it had looked so good for the unlikely pairing when they shot into the lead after the first round. Steve and Guy on the other hand were going for the long-term strategy, deciding to start off slowly and ... well, stay in first gear really. The pairing of Mark K and Tom looked good on paper but, as this game was made of only wood and dice, paper wasn't going to do them any good and they fell short. Which meant that, predictably, the dream team of Mark G and myself romped to victory. Look for lots more games of this at the end of the year if I'm not leading the Hall of Fame.
