As Mark K had let me know he was going to be a bit late, we decided to have a quick game of 6 Nimmt until he turned up. He did so just as we finished the first hand but insisted we play the game to completion. Whether that had anything to do with Nige leading at that point, I don’t know, but we did carry on. Mark G picked up a massive 30 points on the first hand but then had three really good hands after that. On the other hand, whereas Steve and I only picked up a few points in the first hand, it all went downhill from there. The fourth hand saw both Steve and Tom go past the 66 point mark to end the game and Nige cemented his position as the clear winner by not taking a single point in that round.
