For our second game, I managed to croak my way through the rules for Takenoko (having pretty much lost my voice on Thursday). This is a really nice family game of completing secret objectives for victory points with the delightful theme of tending a bamboo garden while a panda satisfies its hunger by eating the crop. Guy managed to trigger the end-game but neither Andrew nor I could add enough points from our final turn to overtake him.
