The table of five moved on next to Guillotine, which we'd all played before. Despite a horrid first round for me and Mark K, we made up ground on the second but Steve was a clear leader going into the last round. However, the noble that ends the round immediately came up at the very front of the third queue and I reckoned by playing an action card and taking it, I could tie with Steve for a joint win. However, by some weird mystical transformation of the numbers on my cards (either that or poor adding up on my part), we found I hadn't actually tied and I'd given Steve a cheap early win by one point. Can I use a calculator next time? |
