Next up for my table was the new card drafting game from Donald X Vaccarino, Greed. This is pretty quick and, once familiar with the various cards, could probably be completed in about 20 minutes although there is some planning involved and sorting out how your cards can be worked together. The cards are either thugs, holdings or actions and you have to determine how best to use the mix of cards you see to generate the most money. Andy concentrated on action cards and seemed to be gaining money while also hitting the rest of us. The rest of us used a more balanced card mix and I thought it was going to be quite tight at the end, particularly with my final card destroying one of Guy's holdings. However, Guy had benefitted from a couple of nice exchanges earlier on and ended up well ahead although none of us thought that to be likely. Nice game that I'm keen to play again now that we've seen how the majority of the cards can benefit you.
