We finished off with a quick game of Geschenkt. I really like the mix of simplicity and agonising decisions in this game and have still not got the value assessment right yet. This time around, Mark G again tried to corner the market in high numbered cards but it didn't pay off for him this time. He did tend to take unattractive cards early without letting them go round the table a turn or two. Nige, who was sat on Mark's left, benefitted from this generosity on a number of occasions but also played a good game to take the win this time. |
