On the second table, I introduced Mark G, Guy and Nicky to Revolution. This is an interesting game of area control and influence over townspeople to gain the benefits that they offer. The game was quite fun with several funny moments but this session suffered from a terrible runaway leader problem. Mark G very early on got a huge leg-up in influence tokens over the rest of us that he was able to easily maintain that advantage and outbid everyone else in key areas. Admittedly, Mark used this advantage very effectively but it was pretty obvious that no-one was ever going to catch him. I hope this is an unusual occurrence and we will certainly watch out for this if the game gets played again but it did mean the game was anti-climactic.
