Six of us for the main game this week so we opted to try Richard Breese's latest game, Keyflower. This was an interesting take on worker placement as you used your meeples both for bidding on tiles to add to your village and to activate tiles in your own and others' villages. Quite an interesting game that was a bit too long with six but I could see as excellent with four or three. Also, with fewer players, fewer tiles come out so it would add to the replayability as you would be less certain which tiles would come out. Nige picked a strategy of collecting skill tiles and stuck to it at the expense of other elements but it worked out well for him as he took the win by five points from Mark K who had a mega-upgrade season in winter but it wasn't enough to catch Nige.
