Our group finished the evening with a quickish race game from Friedemann Friese. In Fast Flowing Forest Fellers, players are trying to get their two characters down a fast flowing river, using cards and the current to manoeuvre themselves into good positions while bumping opponents out of the way. The suggested first course set-up resulted in a fair bit of a logjam with players getting bumped into the adverse currents several times. Eventually, Julia managed to break free and, although Steve and I had the chance to overtake her, had we had the right cards, neither of us did and she secured a second win of the evening. This was quite good fun and should have lots of replay value due to the multiple board configurations. |
