Our second game of the evening was King of Tokyo, a monster bashing game set, unsurprisingly given the title, in Tokyo. The aim is to be the last monster standing or be the first to accumulate 20 victory points. Now Mark G had to be favourite for this one as it's a dice rolling game and it's about bashing up the other players. Not one to be taken seriously, it's a great game to play when you don't want to think too hard. That's not to say that the game is devoid of choices but you can be outdone by other players' fortunate dice-rolling. Nige found this out when he sunk to just 5 health points and Mark G rolled four claws on his first attempt and easily got the fifth one on his next re-roll to eliminate Nige. Eventually, I managed to grab my 20th victory point to crown my self King of Tokyo.
