With eight of us ths week, we split into two groups and my group started off with Discworld: Ankh-Morpork, which is designed by Martin Wallace. That said, it is a very light dessign for Martin but it is aiming for more mass-market appeal given the Terry Pratchett link. Each player has a secret objective and through playing their cards seeks to move themselves towards their victory condition while masking what this is from the other players and preventing their opponents from achieving their goal. This game ended quite quickly as Nige managed to get eight trouble markers into regions and nobody had the cards to prevent him claiming the win at the start of his next turn. A good game that I'm keen to play again.
