With seven of us this week, we opted to play something that would take all of us so TurfMaster was the choice. Steve probably wishes we'd tried something else as he had a pretty awful game. He made it as far as the third fence in the first race before he found he didn't have cards low enough to stop him plowing into the fence (even after drawing his two spare cards). Never mind though, it meant he would have plenty of cards to choose from in the second race - except that the two cards that he had to discard at random turned out both to be 12 space cards. He didn't seem to find it anywhere near as hilarious as the rest of us. Going into the final race, it was really a two-horse race between Mark W and Guy but Guy was able to outwit everyone to win a second race and end the meeting with double the points of Mark W in second place.
