The Amyitis game was still going strong so the group of four moved on to Robber Knights, which I've never played before, although Steve has and was able to teach us. This is a thinky game and, although interesting in terms of working out what to do with your tiles and limited tokens, can lead to a fair bit of downtime. Mark G went for early points and securing his areas to protect his position. Conversely, I held back, partly because of a lack of castles turning up at the time I was expecting to be able to build. However, this meant that I was the only one left with tokens to play at the end and there were enough openings to enable me to claim enough points to overtake Mark K. I'm sure I won't be allowed to get away with that again. I'm glad to have got this off my unplayed games list but am not that struck on it that I'm itching to play it again.
