Game played: Mystery of the Abbey ( Days of Wonder ) BGG Id: 915

Six of us met at John's this week and first up was Mystery of the Abbey, the fun deduction game by Bruno faidutti.

This was, for me, a fairly strange game as no-one apart from me made any revelations. And maybe as a result, it took a bit longer than I felt it should. Steve managed to get down to one card at one stage, which wasn't very helpful to him. Luckily though, Nige had a fistful ready to pass to him, that is until John, who had inherited Steve's single card, drew a card at the library to allow him to swap hands with Nige so Steve got his single card back again at the end of the round.

It was close at the end with three or four of us reasonably sure who the culprit was, but turn order meant Nige was the first to get to the Abbot and correctly identify the guilty party to take the win.
