Having worked out it was just going to be three of us, we moved on to Signorie, a game that I'd asked Nige if he could teach to me. This is a dice action selection game where, each round, you get to take up to four actions by taking a particular colour of dice and performing the associated action. Then if the total of the dice you took during the round is 13 or less, you get a bonus. After seven rounds, whoever has gathered the most VPs wins. I liked this quite a bit and balancing the needs of money, male and female workers and dice values was a nice puzzle. It ran just a little long for me but I did enjoy it. Even though Nige was the experienced player, Mark G completely blew us out of the water and the result seemed never in doubt from about half way through. Not a fault of the game, Mark just played really well.
