There were only four of us this week and we started with a new co-operative game that Mark K brought, Dead Men Tell No Tales. The players are a group of pirates who are trying to loot a ship on the high seas but the ship is on fire and it has a skeleton crew (a crew of skeletons rather than a sparse number of sailors) which are in their way. We played the scurvy dog level (the easiest) so Mark K confidently said, as the character Jade who could eliminate two crew members rather than one for each action, that if we got overrun by skeletons, it would be his fault. Surprise! We got overrun by skeletons and lost. However, it was a really fun game and exploring the ship while trying to fight fire and skeletons was a nice balancing act. It's just a pity Mark K has no sense of balance.
