Game played: King of New York ( IELLO ) BGG Id: 160499

After our failure at Imperial Assault, my group moved on to King of New York. This was new to all of us except Steve. Whereas the other table's game was a race for victory points, this one was very much a game of survival. With lots of military in the districts, everyone's health was depleted pretty quickly. Guy then managed to roll three skulls dealing damage to everyone and eliminating Steve and me. Then Mark G rolled enough claws to kill off Guy but also took a hit to reduce his life to zero on the same turn. A quick check on the rules established that where the players are eliminated on the same turn, everyone loses. So another failure but it was good fun all the same. At this stage, I'm not sure whether I prefer this to King of Tokyo or not - they are both good games and I'd play either one if asked.
