This week, we had twelve in attendance so had to set up a third table to accommodate us all. My group of four took the card table and started off with Elevenses, a card game about taking time out for morning tea and putting on a better spread than your opponents. Despite the genteel theme, the game itself presents good opportunities to bash the perceived leader or at least mess with his or her plans. It took a bit longer than expected and we decided to stop when I got to six points rather than seven, although I would have hit that total in the next round. I'd be interested to see how it plays with two or three players.
