With seven of us this week, we split into two tables and my group of four started out with Nauticus. This is another fine game by Kramer and Kiesling and utilises a Puerto Rico-like action/role selection mechanism where everyone gets to use the action selected but the person choosing that action gets a bonus of some description. Multiple paths for players to try out and this ended up being such a close result. I thought Felix was well out of the reckoning but his big ship generated lots of points (57) at the end and that brought him right back in contention. As it was, just seven points separated first from last with me managing to just pip Nicky for the win.
