After Relic Runners, I decided to shift to a party game for a change and Dixit hit the table. This is a fun game in which players take turns in giving a clue to the picture depicted on their card, following which everyone adds one of their own cards to the mix that they think might also fit the clue. Then everyone gets to vote on which picture they think belonged to the clue-giver. That person only receives points if at least one but not all of the players correctly identified their card; otherwise everyone else scores instead. The other players also get points if their card gets wrongly picked as the clue-giver's card.

We played ten rounds so everyone was the clue-giver twice. I managed to give the same clue "The show must go on" on both of my rounds, whereas Mark K's first clue was so obtuse that nobody stood a chance of guessing it correctly. Even when we knew which card was his, we were struggling to see a link between the serene candle depicted and the clue "great superstar" (might not have been exactly those words but it was similar). A really fun and funny game in which Guy and I managed to tie for the win.
