Our table finished of with a very nice light, stock market game from Reiner Knizia called Spectaculum. You invest in travelling circus shows and as these move from village to village, their reputation (stock price) rises and falls. As you know in advance how each village will alter a show's rputation, you have some idea of when to buy and sell and, if you've drawn the right coloured travel markers, you can move the shows you're invested in towards the most lucrative villages. Very quick to play (30-45 minutes) and some interesting decisions to make on each turn but we felt it would be better as a two- or four-player game than with three, although it definitely works three-player. Steve won this quite comfortably, although we were surprised how much I recovered from being ganged up on at the start.
