We finished off with a game of this year's Spiel-des-Jahres, Kingdom Builder. This is a really nice game and Steve is very enamoured with it. Pete had not played before but it is pretty easy to pick up. It turned out to be extremely close at the end. Steve had gone heavily into collecting the extra action tokens which meant he was placing more houses than the rest of us but we managed to limit his connections to the castles. However, he just managed to stay ahead to claim the win by just two points. Good game.
